Over 40 years ago, from a small warehouse and the back of a van, Charlotte Raisbeck made a dream come true. She opened her first English equestrian store in 1977, and like any entrepreneur, Charlotte worked from the bottom up. When not working at the store, she was traveling from horse show to horse show, visiting with new friends and customers and selling tack and other show necessities.
After gathering a loyal following from Houston and surrounding communities, she opened her 2nd store in Tomball in 1984. By 1994, it was time to expand again and the store extended its product lines to include Western saddles, tack and equipment. By the year 2000, Charlotte's Saddlery was online serving equestrians all over the country.
Our Tomball location now serves as our only "brick and mortar" store and we continue to offer online services to all of our customers.
If you haven't visited Tomball yet and want to see a tack shop with all the charm and feel of a small Texas town, come see us at 114 W. Main St. ...and stay long enough to enjoy one of the great restaurants or antique shops in walking distance from the store!
